Matt Tanase, Rackspace Cloud, Lightning Talk Speaker

Hey Cloud Campers, I’m here representing the Rackspace Cloud and Slicehost. I love talking with our customers and hearing about the technical issues you are facing. Please grab me, say hello and get right to the geek talk, I’d love to help you out however possible.

Ed Beauvais, EMC, Lightning Talk Speaker

Hello cloud campers. I’m excited to talk to you about the EMC Atmos cloud infrastructure offerings. As the types of applications we build in the cloud become more complex, developers need to consider the interoperability between internal an external clouds for any and all types of applications and information management. I’m looking forward to talking to you about how you can use cloud technologies as an extension of your current IT architecture- and how best practices can be put to work for you. In the meantime, I invite you to register for a free trial of Atmos onLine, EMCs internet accessible storage at www.emccis.com

Jason Noel, Unisys, Lightning Talk Speaker

On behalf of Unisys, welcome! Since I spend most of my time on the road all over the world talking about the realities of Cloud computing and Real-Time Infrastructures I am very anxious to attend an event that is local to my home here in New England! Today I will be focusing sharply on what I believe is the Achilles heel of the Cloud, but what I really enjoy discussing is the non-sexy part of transforming a technology infrastructure – the disruptive change it brings to the people that manage it. Let’s discuss it. Please check out the Data Center Transformation offerings at Unisys.com

Things are changing so fast – I see this as a great forum to keep up. If you want some background on Signiant and Cloud Optimized Delivery (COD) – go to www.signiant.com/cloud for the primer.
